Eating disorders

Anorexia, bulimia and binge eating are behaviours that attempt to deal with underlying emotional problems. The urge to control food is often a reaction to other life issues that feel out of control. The anorexic, bulimic or binge eater has distorted perceptions of reality and serious help is needed to achieve recovery. Medical and counselling intervention is necessary for healing.
