Family of origin

We are all products of the families we grew up in. We learned many things from our family; some things will serve us well and some will not. Awareness of the things we learned as a child helps us identify ideas that help us grow to be healthy, loving people who are pleasing to God (Romans 12). This awareness of our parents’ influence and our childhood experiences also helps us identify things we should work to change, or where we need to make different choices.
